Trail Update 31 October 2025

This week was all about maintenance and one small change in the Silver Workshop17 route.

The trails have dried up nicely after the rain and will be riding perfectly tomorrow. There is rain forecasted for afternoon so make sure that you get your ride or run in on Saturday!

Silver Workshop17 Route: The gate on the road to Umhlali at the far end of the route is closed. We have diverted the route over the new dam wall and used the old route along the quarry. Then we turn left and climb straight to the top where the first switch back section starts.

Fairview access:

The access to Fairview remains as is but we have a new operating system. All day visitors will need biometric for Fairview access. The intake is slightly longer then the obtaining the access code but the biometrics is once off. With your next visit, please mention that you are on the system and we set your access for the day. All existing members that have done their biometrics are transferred to the new data base but there may be the odd one that fell through the cracks. When you have a chance, please do a quick test at the reading om our counter.
